The HOME Comedy Theater is Chicago’s newest comedy venue featuring the best improv comedy shows in the city. Located in Chicago’s East Lakeview neighborhood, our theater boasts an 80-seat theater with a bar and kitchen, a full restaurant menu, a training center, and a separate full-service bar open seven days a week.
Our Training Center specializes in the teaching of “Long From” improvisation and “The Harold”, a Chicago-born signature long-form structure. We also offer a TV Writing program, comedy/improv workshops, and more!
Our instructors are some of the best and most influential teachers and performers in the field of improvisation of the past three decades and their contribution to the art of improvisation helped Chicago be recognized as the Mecca of improvisational studies and performances around the world.
