“TIGHT 5” with Norm Holly
Saturdays, April 26 to May 17th. – 12pm to 3pm. Cost: $80
This 4-week class will help you develop your 5 to minutes of Stand-Up ” as well as the beginnings of your one person show or five minutes of sketch material.
“IMPROVISED Tennessee Williams” with Norm Holly
Saturdays, May 24th to June 14th – 12pm to 3pm. Cost: $80
Learn to improvise in the style of one of America’s greatest playwrights in this 4-week workshop that will culminate in a full half hour performance.
Norm’s artistic experience includes 25 years as Artistic Director and Conservatory Head at The Second City in Chicago, where he was also a Resident Company and Touring Company Director. He is part of the Columbia College Comedy Studies faculty and the former Asst.Chairman of the Columbia College Theater Dept.

Q&A with Emmy Winning Casting Director AJ Links
Saturday, May 17th, 12pm to 3pm. Cost: $30
This Q&A will be a chance for you to ask questions about the acting industry (in Chicago and beyond) regarding TV, feature films, and commercials. AJ will be happy to answer your questions and help clarify and dispel what Casting Directors want in the room and from the talent they are seeing.
AJ LINKS, CSA (she/her) is a two-time Emmy Winning Casting Director for the Chicago Casting of FX’s THE BEAR and the owner of AJ Links Casting. She is a three-time Artios Award Winner for her work on THE BEAR, HBO’s LOVECRAFT COUNTRY and Aaron Sorkin’s THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7. Before AJ Links Casting, she spent almost 11 years at Paskal Rudnicke Casting, working her way up from intern to CD. AJ casts films (both big budget studio features and Chicago indies), television, commercials, industrials, music videos and live theater. Her select television credits include: FX’s THE BEAR (2 Primetime Emmys) and the fourth installment of FARGO, HBO’s STATION ELEVEN, SOUTH SIDE, and LOVECRAFT COUNTRY (Artios Award), Showtime’s SHAMELESS and WORK IN PROGRESS, AppleTV+ series THE SHINING GIRLS, Comedy Central’s JOE PERA TALKS WITH YOU and the upcoming Marvel series IRONHEART.
